The NFL's 2026 international schedule will place a record nine regular-season games in seven countries on four continents, beginning with the league's first game in Australia and ending with its return to Mexico City. The league announced the complete international slate May 13 ahead of the September opener.
San Francisco and the Los Angeles Rams start the series September 10 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Thursday night NFC West game is set for 8:35 p.m. Eastern on Netflix. Baltimore and Dallas then meet September 27 at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, the NFL's third consecutive season with a game in Brazil.
London carries the middle of the schedule with three consecutive weeks. Indianapolis plays Washington at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 4, Philadelphia faces Jacksonville there October 11, and Houston meets Jacksonville at Wembley Stadium October 18.
New Orleans hosts Pittsburgh at Stade de France on October 25, marking the NFL's first regular-season game in Paris. Atlanta and Cincinnati meet at Madrid's Bernabéu Stadium November 8. Detroit hosts New England in Munich November 15, and Minnesota and San Francisco finish the series in Mexico City on November 22.
San Francisco is the other two-game traveler, bookending the nine-game schedule in Melbourne and Mexico City. In all, 16 teams participate. Most European games begin at 9:30 a.m. Eastern, with other games spread among Netflix, CBS, Fox, NBC and NFL Network platforms.
The expansion creates a broader international footprint, but it also produces unusual travel and recovery demands. Exact team form and player availability will not be known until the season begins. What is fixed now is the league's largest international calendar yet, including two new host countries and two franchises scheduled for double appearances.
